Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!!
Can you believe that is it 2012?
Well I surely cannot! I cannot believe how quickly 2011 came and went! So much happened in the last year that it is hard to believe that it is already over! But I am extremely excited to see what this new year will bring! Everyone keeps telling me "This is your year!" (whatever that means) But I really do hope that this is "my year!" (Again...whatever that means!)

So what did everyone do to bring in the new year?
Most of the time I keep it low key, with close friends and family.  But this year was completely different! And different in an absolutely fabulous way! Well I've recently started dating someone!! *applause applause* He is an awesome guy! And I am really enjoying the time I am spending with him! I cannot wait to see how things go, and I am really hoping that things continue to go well! *Fingers crossed*

Well Tony spends Christmas and New Years in Vegas with his brother and his family! And he invited me to come spend New Years in Vegas! Well of course I was a little nervous, but the more we talked about it the more I got excited, and by the time we were on our way I couldn't wait to get there!!! Needless to say the weekend was amazing!!!  We had such a great time! Laughing, shopping, eating, laughing, hanging out, and enjoying Vegas and all that it has to offer! The highlight of the trip was Tony taking me to see "The Phantom of the Opera" Friday night! OH MY GOSH THE SHOW WAS AMAZING!  I've seen it before but not in Vegas! And it was sooooo good! Tony is too good to me and got us 2nd row seats to the show! So we were right in the action! I couldn't believe it!

Unfortunately we didn't take a ton of pictures this weekend but here are some that we did take! Thanks again Tony for such a great weekend! You are great! :)

The Garden at the Bellagio was still decorated for Christmas! So awesome!

Chocolate Fountain! YUM!!!

Vegas' Eiffel Tower

Brunch at "Hash House A Go Go"

Biggest quesadilla in the world? Quite possibly!

No big deal I started with $10.  The Venetian didn't know what hit them!
I took Tony to get gelato with my $27.20.

New Year's Eve instead of taking on the chaos and insanity of the Vegas strip we decide to keep it low key.  We found a spot where we could see the whole strip so we could watch the fireworks.  So we had a Del Taco picnic, played battleship on our iPhones (which I dominated), chit-chatted, and drank Martinelli's sparkling cider and enjoyed an awesome firework show!

It really was such a fun night! Even though it was really low key, it was spent with great company! And I really couldn't have asked for a better night!

Before we headed out of town on Sunday, Tony took me to see the Vegas temple!
It was beautiful! Just like every temple!

It was such a great weekend! I had so much fun! I couldn't have asked for a better weekend!
I hope everyone had as good of weekend as I did!

I love it! What a fun weekend! I'm so jealous. We spent New Years here in Riverton with 9 and 10 year old boys. I'm so glad you had such a good time. (Tony is Cute) :)
